I think you should color red a deep red with black and yellow.

I dunno. This thing looks a bit insect-like to me, so I automatically see it in insect colors. Think red, burnt reds and oranges, and browns with green and blue shadows. Whoa, I just read what I'm typing, and it looks like I'm snorting pixie stix here :)
Possible alternative is crawdad blues type color scheme.
Maybe I should just stop before I burn out the color receptors in someone's mind's eye!

Skrikiga färger tycker jag. Gör nåt galet med den. Typ knark hippi sprayade rosa, oragne, grön. Eller nåt.

Wow, this one's really unusual. It reminds me of those really deep sea creatures that live in high pressure depths because of how abstract it looks. So my idea would obviously be to use that as inspration for the colour scheme and make it jet black with a few very small areas of bright luminous colour.

sounds like good idea. but aren’t usually deep sea creatures white/transparent/colourless? due to the lack of light I mean?

Yeah, I'm sure you're right actually. They always look black in photos and drawings though
