A far more realistic and cyber-punkish Zaku design.
Very good; it's different, but I like it.

This, along with the other mecha here, deserves to be finished.

I liek this redesign, it's pretty damn awesome, although it reminds me of a vertical standing version of the critter from Patlabor the movie WXIII

Aces, I see you keep adding little bits and from what I see it does appear you have a similar method of constructing your mechs in sections. Are the limbs all seperate layers or flattened to one? I ask cause I just put every piece/limb of my FOIL full CG stuff on their own layer for ease of control. I know I mentioned it before but I don't think I ever asked if you're doing much the same as it seems like you might be or something like it. Regardless of how you do it, clearly it's working for you :D This one's shaping up to be a pretty wild re-imagining of an old classic, very cool man :)

I have the lines of parts on seperate layers, but the colours are on a single layer (to keep the layer count down a bit :) )
I don’t always do this, most of the stuff for my comic are done in a single piece. but it makes resizing and fitting parts easier to have them separated on some designs. stuff like scaling down the right leg on this one, which I need to do, gets a lot easier.
glad you dig it. it’s gonna be fun thinking up the design for the Gundam :)
