Ganadhje w. rifle by genocidalpenguin Ganadhje w. rifle by genocidalpenguin
armed with a 20mm rifled autocannon.
I tried to make a weapon thatís something in between of a handheld and mounted one, and Iím pretty happy with the way it turned out.
note the spare cylindrical mags strapped to the thigh.

About how tall is the mech? Where would the pilot sit?

It's a really cool design :)

Great mech design.

Some of your mecha design standards, like the rifle shape, the streamlined torso, and those baglike structures protecting the joints, have inspired my recent mecha designs.

This is cool, and I like the coverings over its joints and that, they give it a more realistic look

Man, how I relish a solid mech design! And there's no shortage on this gallery. This is my fix for the day. Thank you.

Yah... just had to add this one to my +favorites. Love the anatomy, tubes, coloring etc. The foot's perspective looks a bit off, but dosn't detract from the image.

That's awsome. You can tell that the shading is analogue and that's what's so cool about it! :D
So do you do the shading and scan it in separately then?

thanks :)
I printed out a copy, did the shading on that one and then I scanned it and fitted it in photshop. for the highlights I traced the outline, did the spots with a pencil and inverted it in PS :)

Aw, cool. I've done that with the shading before, but I'd never have thought of scanning in the highlights and inverting them *has sudden urge to draw lots of shiny things* hehe

Looks like the rounds corkscrew in the cylinder canisters, and I love how the rifle is attatched to the forearm and the claw. For some reason, I could see a Ganadhje pacing across an aircraft carrier. Maybe with alternative anti-air weapons or extra sensory equipment. Anyways, very impressive coloring job for just a mouse; trust me I've had my time with one before I got my hands on a Intous3.

Wow, great gun design! I like the magazines too.

When is your magna going to premere? You have such interesting designs that almost demand to be featured somewhere.

I'm slowly catching up. Re-did Vandread's Vanguards, so I hope to post the 'new vanguard' sometime. Of course, I have you to blame for the way it looks the way it does :D

there’s no date set, so whenever it’s ready I guess. all the designs will be featured at Gearsonline.

sounds interesting. Vandread’s an anime, right?

Yeah, Vandread's an anime.

It features Vanguards (humanoid mecha) Dreads (Fighters) and Vandreads (Hybird special combination Vanguard and dread).

There isn't an official page to my knoweldge, but poking around here might help;

That is impressive. Mechas with separate weapons are much better than arm-mounted weaponry. And that gun just looks sexy. Helical Magazines for the win!

Oh, I should add, feel free to fire me a copy of the rifle and ammo add on as I'm assuming they're seperate line art added to the original art on thier own layer. I'll add it to the color version I do, the rifle is just damn cool :)
